Midwest Coastal was born from a simple realization: you don't have to live near the ocean to live a coastal lifestyle.

Like so many people, we spend all year looking forward to our next beach vacation. Whether it's relaxing on a scenic stretch of the Gulf Coast shoreline, catching waves on the Pacific Coast, or strolling the boardwalks of the Atlantic Coast, those trips never seem long enough. Then it’s back home to our landlocked paradise.

That's when we realized something—the Midwest has its own coasts. From lakes, rivers, and creeks to community beaches, water parks, and neighborhood pools, they're wherever we gather to enjoy the water and the outdoors. The scenery may be different, but the feeling is exactly the same. 

That's what inspired Midwest Coastal.
